Select Board Members Present: Kenn Basler, Chairperson, Steve Weisz and Carol Edelman

The Board met with members of the Broadband Committee and Finance Committee to discuss the progress on the request for proposal (RFP) for a fiber buildout. Cliff has been working on a RFP for Monterey. Steve reported that New Marlborough has sent out a RFP which he believes received 1 response. He noted that several towns have recently come together to look at the way a RFP will go out and if it is possible to send out a combined RFP. Discussion ensued about the options available and the direction Monterey should head. We are moving forward with crafting an RFP with the other towns in discussion right now as well as looking at doing an individual RFP. The Finance Committee has reiterated that using any town funds is off the table until a concrete plan with numbers is
presented.
A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 5:30pm
